Creating a Dramatic Sky Over, With Photoshop Blending Mode Multiply

1. open the file that we will though.

2. Next we duplicate (CTRL + J) background layer to get the background layer COPY.

3. Then duplicate the layer that we change its blending mode to multiply, it will show the sky for the better but the FG will be darkened and lost a lot of detail.

4. Then we moved to the Channels palette, duplicate BLUE Channel.

5. After that do the Curves adjustment in duplicate BLUE channel and raise the contrast so clear and distinct differences between black and white.
6. After that we click the button LOAD SELECTION AS below, then select the RGB channel again, can be added feather (SELECT> Feather / ALT + CTRL + D) so that its finer gradations.

7. After that we moved to the Layers palette with a selection that we get we just click the add layer mask button at the bottom, and if the layer mask is still there is a leak FG affected "Multiply blending" you can brush with the color BLACK.

8. If the Multiply blending less make a dramatic sky you can duplicate the layer that we had masked a few times until you are happy with the results. In the example I reproduce this picture into 3 layers.

9. At this point the sky already look more beautiful and dramatic, but the picture still looks FLAT. Then we add 1 Layer Adjustment BRIGHTNESS / CONTRAST where we will reduce it and add CONTRAST BRIGHTNESS his (Fill in the parameters according to the tastes and conditions of your files), then merge all layers (SHIFT + CTRL + E).
10. In the final stage I gave the Unsharp Mask to sharpen detail, and this is the end result:
